AMIGA (Electrical LOVERS, Tokyo)

DJ AMIGA (also known as Electrical LOVERS) is a Japanese electrical musician. She started her musical career in 2001 as the brains of the electronic music unit Electrical LOVERS, with her first single titled “Imaginary Project.” Her second single “Double Helix” was regarded highly in the world, where it attracted Norman Cook to be incorporated in Fat Boy Slim’s ‘Live On Brighton Beach-BIG BEACH BOUTIQUE’ DVD. Mixmaster Morris was also taken to it and he included it in his mix CD ‘Ambient meditations4 God bless the chilled.’ Recently busy with providing music for CM’s, DVD’s and motion picture soundtracks, she has also been appointed to the Music Producer of Roppongi Hill’s ‘SKY AQUARIUM.’ While AMIGA stages the reception parties for world’s top brands such as Tiffany, Calvin Klein, Cartier, FENDI, DIESEL, NIKE, UNIQLO and ARMANI, she DJs at the top underground parties in Tokyo with her unique mix of eletronic music. In addition, she was also invited to DJ for F1 Japanese GP and European Union’s 50th Anniversary party in Tokyo. Since its grand open, in 2007, she has been a residential DJ for one of the Tokyo’s most fashionable hotel, The Peninsula Tokyo. She has succeeded in LIVE & DJ Tours in the United States, the Russian Federation, the Republic of Korea, Malaysia, Taiwan and Beijing and Hong Kong in the People’s Republic of China.
